Abstract

Water is the main human need that is used continuously. The role of water is very important because it is used for consumption, h ousehold needs, industry and other vital facilities. PDAM is a government-owned enterprise that has business scope in the management of drinking water which aims to improve people's welfare. Clean water resources for the needs of daily life in general must meet water quality standards in quantity and quality. The purpose of this study was to analyze the management of clean water in the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Tirta Sako Batuah, Sarolangun Regency. This type of research is qualitative. Information retrieval method by conducting in-depth interviews, and observation. Informants in this study amounted to 7 people. The results of the research show that the Human Resources in the clean water management process are based on the specified standards. Funds allocated for clean water management are still lacking. The facilities and infrastructure as well as the methods used are also in accordance with the standards that should be used. The process of planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating has been carried out properly. Based on the research results, it is known that currently the quantity of clean water produced is quite a lot, namely around 80 m³/80,000 liters per day and the quality of the clean water produced at this time meets the clean water quality standards based on Permenkes No. 32 of 2017.
