Abstract

The digitalization of Finance has paved the way for fundamental changes in people's access and participation in financial services, with the potential to significantly expand financial inclusion.This study aims to analyze the influence of aspects of financial digitization on financial inclusion in ASEAN countries. The Data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data from 2004 to 2020 sourced from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The method in this study uses a quantitative approach with regression analysis techniques Panel data with Fixed Effect Model Method. The results of this study indicate that financial transaction variables have a negative effect on financial inclusion and significant. credit card transaction variables negatively affect financial inclusion and are not significant .Variable internet penetration and automated teller machines (ATMs) have a positive effect on financial inclusion and significant. The study implies the need for regional cooperation to develop a regulatory framework that supports financial technology innovation, increased public awareness of the benefits of digital financial services, and further investment in technological infrastructure that will enable greater financial inclusion in ASEAN.
