UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN PROGRAM PROFESI NERS Karya Ilmiah, Oktober 2023 Diny Artika Sari, S.Kep PENERAPAN PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN NUTRISI PADA PASIEN CA OVARIUM SELAMA KEMOTERAPI DENGAN MASALAH DEFISIT NUTRISI Diny Artika Sari* Karolin Adhisty* 1Mahasiswa PSIK FK Universitas Sriwijaya 2Dosen PSIK FK Universitas Sriwijaya email : dinyartikas02@gmail.com ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kanker ovarium adalah kanker yang tumbuh dan berkembang pada ovarium atau indung telur, yaitu dua organ yang berada di sisi kanan dan kiri rahim. Upaya pengobatan ca ovarium salah satunya kemoterapi. Timbulnya efek samping kemoterapi mual dan muntah maka akan dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan metabolisme tubuh selama proses penyakit, mempengaruhi asupan makanan dan status gizi pada penderita kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi. Salah satu penatalaksanaan yang dapat dilakukan pada pasien kemoterapi yang mengalami penurunan nafsu makan yaitu dengan memberikan edukasi nutrisi. Metode: Metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi litterature yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2007-2020 dapat full text. Hasil: Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada ketiga pasien kelolaan didapatkan 7 masalah keperawatan. Salah satu masalah keperawatan utama yang sama yaitu defisit nutrisi. Hasil akhir dari masalah keperawatan tersebut yaitu teratasi sebagian. Intervensi manajemen nutrisi yang diberikan untuk meningkatkan status nutrisi yaitu dengan menggunakan edukasi nutrisi didapatkan hasil mendapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat perubahan nafsu makan dan pengetahuan pada pasien untuk menjalani pola hidup sehat dan semangat untuk sembuh. Analisis: Pemberian intervensi manajemen nutrisi melalui proses edukasi nutrisi yang tepat meningkatkan jumlah asupan makanan pasien dan peningkatan lebih lanjut dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kenaikan asupan makan Pembahasan: edukasi nutrisi memberikan efek untuk meningkatkan status nutrisi karena menjalani pola hidup schat dan pemenuban nutrisi yang bergizi dan seimbang adalah beberapa langkah terbaik yang bisa dijalani oleh pasien kanker untuk mendukung mereka dalam menjalani pengobatan. Pemenuban nutrisi pada masa-masa terapi bertujuan untuk menjaga berat badan ideal serta memenuhi kebutuhan energi untuk tahap pemulihan dan penyembuhan. Efforts to treat ovarian ca include chemotherapy. The emergence of side effects of chemotherapy, nausea and vomiting, can influence the increase in body metabolism during the disease process, affecting food intake and nutritional status in cancer sufferers undergoing chemotherapy. One of the treatments that can be done for chemotherapy patients who experience a decrease in appetite is by providing nutritional education. Method: Qualitative descriptive method with a litterature study approach published from 2007-2020 with full text. Results: The results of research conducted on the three managed patients found 7 nursing problems. One of the main nursing problems is nutritional deficit. The final result of the nursing problem was that it was partially resolved. The nutritional management intervention provided to improve nutritional status, namely by using nutritional education, resulted in changes in appetite and knowledge in patients to live a healthy lifestyle and enthusiasm for recovery. Analysis: Providing nutritional management interventions through an appropriate nutritional education process increases the patient's food intake and further increases can influence the rate of increase in food intake Discussion: nutrition education has the effect of improving nutritional status because living a healthy lifestyle and achieving nutritious and balanced nutrition are some of the best steps that cancer patients can take to support them in undergoing treatment. Nutritional fulfillment during the therapy period aims to maintain ideal body weight and meet energy needs for the recovery and healing stages.
