Abstract
This development research aims to create recycled material based dance costumes for flower plants for children in group B in Pembina Indralaya Selatan Kindergarten. This development uses a combination of Rowntree development models and Tessmer evaluation, the Rowntree development model consists of three stages, namely the planning stage, the development phase, and the evaluation phase. In the evaluation phase a formative evaluation was carried out consisting of 4 stages, namely the stage of self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation and small group evaluation. Data collection techniques using questionnaires / interviews and observations. The results of the data analysis showed that at the expert review evaluation stage, the average results of the research on recycled material based dance costumes were 3.82 (very valid category). The validity of the media can be seen from the results of the validation carried out by material experts and media experts who stated that the recycled dance costumes were comfortable for children and in accordance with children’s needs. The one-to-one evaluation stage obtained an average of 94 research .results (very good category). The small group evaluation stage obtained an average of 92 research results (excellent category). So it Based on the results of the above was stated that recycled material-based dance costumes can be said to be practical in developing children’s interest in research, it can be concluded that the recycled dancing. material based dance costumes based on the subema of flower plants are declared valid and practical for children in group B.
