Abstract
The purpose of this research was to know efectiveness from application various type of vermicompost (vermicompost of coal fly ash, coconut shell ash, sinabung mount ash) on production of red amaranth (Amaranthus tricolor L.) This research was conducted from October 2017 to December 2017 in Experimental Station, Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatera. This research used Randomized Complete Block Design factorial with 24 treatments and 4 replications. The first factor was type of vermicompost consisted of 4 levels, namely (vermicompost of coal fly ash, coconut shell ash, sinabung mount ash) and the second factor was dose of N, P, K fertilizers and vermicompost consisted of 6 levels , namely (P0( 0% N,P,K and 0% vermicompost ), P1( 100% N,P,K and 0% vermicompost ), P2( 75% N,P,K and 25% vermicompost ), P3( 50% N,P,K and 50% vermicompost ), P4( 25% N,P,K and 75% vermicompost ), P5( 0% N,P,K and 100% vermicompost)). The results showed that combination treatment V2P3 could give the best fresh weight, could incrase value of efectivness and fesieble to used as combination treatment of farming.
