Abstract

Indonesia is located in the Pacific ring of fire, which is the meeting zone of the world's three tectonic plates. The presence of these three plates makes Indonesia vulnerable to natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. This research discusses the analysis of power consumption in mobile robots and rescue based on Android applications. This robot is equipped with an ESP 32 CAM, LM 35 DZ temperature sensor, and ESP 8266 module which is controlled by an Android application that uses IoT principles. This robot uses one lipo battery type with a power capacity of 2200 mAh with a regulated voltage of 5v. In the power consumption analysis test on the mobile robot, the test was carried out using 3 trajectories, namely horizontal, uphill 30˚ uphill 45˚ and using 4 load variations, namely 75 gram load, 100 gram load, 125 gram load and 150 gram load. In determining power consumption, parameters such as voltage (v), electric charge (A) are used. The results of the power consumption analysis show the results of power use in watts (W), which has a large difference in power use in each test carried out, this is caused by the influence several factors, such as differences in the position of the robot, the amount of load used and the type of track.
