Abstract
Background: Visits to Posbindu of productive age in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in 2022 will only be 78.21%. The highest results of visits to Posbindu are in the city of Pangkalpinang, amounting to 98.53% of productive age visits in 2022. The minimum service standards from year to year always do not reach the national Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. A big role is needed from health promotion workers to promote Posbindu for non-communicable diseases in order to achieve MSS. Researchers intend to explore community protection motivations that can influence visits to Integrated Development Posts (POSBINDU) for non-communicable diseases in Pangkalpinang City. Research Method: Research using qualitative methods aims to objectively capture and reveal reality/truth phenomena. Research Results: There were 16 informants at the Gerunggang, Pangkalbalam and Air Itam Community Health Centers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, FGD and non-participatory observation. Key informant demographic data is: age range 17 to 56 years. Education from elementary school to college. Employment status is dominated by 13 housewives, 2 people with civil servant status and 1 student. The risk factors for non-communicable diseases were mostly caused by families with non-communicable diseases and the gender was dominated by 11 female participants and 1 male participant. The results show that the ability to carry out screening for non-communicable diseases is that the ability to know about Posbindu for non-communicable diseases is still lacking, the public's self confidence in screening for non-communicable diseases is obtained by all informants who are confident in entrusting their health to screening for non-communicable diseases, the susceptibility of non-communicable diseases and the threat of disease. non-infectious disease is one of the factors that motivates people to visit the Posbindu for non-communicable diseases in Pangkalpinang City in 2023. Conclusion: Protection motivation (ability, confidence, susceptibility to non-communicable diseases and threat of non-communicable diseases) influences people to visit Posbindu for non-communicable diseases. The obstacle is still the lack of public knowledge about Posbindu, non-communicable diseases.
