Abstract

The aim of this research is to design a semi-automatic nutrient pH control system based on NodeMCU EPS 8266 in the NFT hydroponic system on pak choy (Brassica Rappa L.) as an experimental plant. The research was carried out from 20 June to 17 July 2023. The implementation was carried out at the Santoso Berkah Hydroponic Garden, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province, precisely on Jl Kemuning District, Palembang City. The method used is descriptive quantitative by testing the work of a semi-automatic water pH level control tool on the NFT hydroponic system based on the parameters of accuracy, error percentage and precision. The results of this research show that the average accuracy value produced by the semi-automatic water pH control system based on the NodeMCU esp8266 reached 97.42% and the error percentage reached 2.52%. The value of the accuracy and percentage of errors made on the pH sensor. is this is smaller than the pH Meter error value. The smaller the error percentage value, the greater the quality of the product. Meanwhile, the accuracy value of the pH Sensor is greater than the accuracy value of the pH Meter, indicating that the greater the accuracy value, the greater the quality of the product. The overall average precision value from the first week to the fourth week on the semi-automatic water pH level control system based on the NodeMCU ESP8266 reached 0.96. The pH sensor setpoint in this study was 6 because the pH value required for Pakcoy plants in the range value 5.5-6.5. The suggestion that can be given for further research is to change the control system that previously operated semi-automatically into a control system that functions automatically.
