Abstract

Fitra Aldiansyah. Performance Analysis on Hand Tractor in Banyuasin District.(Supervised by Ir.R. MURSIDI, M.Si). The use of agricultural machinery (alsintan) provides several significant benefits for farmers. First, alsintan helps expedite agricultural processes, reducingthe time and labor required for activities such as land cultivation, planting, and harvesting. This research aims to investigate and analyze the performance of the hand tractor on land cultivation processes in Banyuasin Regency. The research methodology employed in this study is descriptive, with primary data collection through surveys and semi-structured interviews. The research parameters include field capacity, field efficiency, and operational costs in Banyuasin Regency. The research findings indicate that the efficiency of hand tractor usage in Telang Makmur Village, Muara Telang District, Sako Village, Rambutan District, and Banyu Urip Village, Tanjung Lago District, is 93%, 83% and 91%. The demand for hand tractors is still relatively low. The potential indem and for hand tractors in Telang Makmur Village, Muara Telang District, Sako Village, Rambutan District, and Banyu Urip Village, Tanjung Lago District, is 77 units, 96 units, and 89 units, respectively. The operational costs of operating a hand tractor in Telang Rejo Village, Muara Telang District, amountto Rp. 4.372.000, in Sako Village, Rambutan District, amountto Rp. 3.639.000, and in Tanjung Lago Village, Tanjung Lago District, amountto Rp. 5.564.600. Penggunaan alsintan memberikan beberapa manfaat signifikan bagi parapetani. Pertama, alsintan membantu dalam mempercepat proses pertanian, mengurangi waktu dan tenaga yang diperlukan untuk kegiatan seperti pengolahan tanah, penanaman, dan panen. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kinerja traktor roda dua terhadap proses pengolahan tanah diKabupaten Banyuasin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui survei dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Parameter penelitian mencakup kapasitas lapang, efisiensi lapang, dan biaya operasional traktor roda dua di Kabupaten Banyuasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi penggunaan alat traktor roda dua di Desa Telang Makmur Kecamatan Muara Telang, Desa Sako Kecamatan Rambutan, dan Desa Banyu Urip Kecamatan Tanjung Lago adalah sebesar 93%, 83% dan 91%. Tingkat kebutuhan alat traktor roda dua masih sangat rendah. Potensi kebutuhan alat traktor roda dua di Desa Telang Makmur Kecamatan Muara Telang, Desa Sako Kecamatan Rambutan, dan Desa Banyu Urip Kecamatan Tanjung Lago adalah masing-masing sebanyak 77 unit, 96 unit, dan 89 unit. Biaya operasional perpengoperasian alat traktor roda dua pada Desa Telang Rejo Kecamatan Muara Telang sejumlah Rp. 4.372.000, Desa Sako Kecamatan Rambutan sejumlah Rp. 3.639.00, dan Desa Tanjung Lago Kecamatan Tanjung Lago sejumlah sejumlah Rp. 5.564.600.
