Abstract

Air sungai dapat mengandung berbagai logam berat salah satunya yaitu Cr. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan distribusi serta kadar konsentrasi Cr dalam air sungai gasing menggunakan metode Spektofotometri Serapan Atom (SSA). Selain itu juga menentukan analisis lapangan pada beberapa parameter yaitu suhu, kecepatan arus, pH dan DO. Penelitian ini diawali dengan pengambilan sampel air pada tujuh titik yaitu Muara Sebalik, Muara Kenten, PT Sutopo, Tengah Sungai Gasing, Jembatan Gasing Tengah, Jembatan Desa Kenten dan Hulu Sungai Gasing. Pembuatan larutan standar 0 mg/L; 0,2 mg/L; 1 mg/L; 4 mg/L; 8 mg/L dan 10 mg/L kemudian penentuan kadar Cr dalam air sungai gasing menggunakan metode Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom (SSA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa linearitas dengan persamaan regresi linear y = 0,0028x + 0,00009 dan nilai (r) = 0,9988. Hasil LOD sebesar 0,035 mg/L dan nilai LOQ sebesar 0,118 mg/L. Kadar konsentrasi Cr yang terukur pada sampel air Sungai Gasing berkisar 0,07 mg/L – 0,97 mg/L. Distribusi ion logam berat Cr dari hulu-hilir Sungai Gasing cenderung menurun. Kadar ion logam berat Cr di sungai gasing telah melampaui baku mutu lingkungan menurut PPRI No.22 Tahun 2021 (0,05 mg/L).
