Abstract

The income of a micro business is influenced by several factors. One of them is business capital. Business capital can be assisted by the presence of financing from a cooperative. The objectives of this research are (1) To determine the level of income of micro agricultural and non-agricultural businesses before and after obtaining financing from the Palembang Rukun Credit Cooperative, (2) To calculate the significance of the difference in income of micro agricultural and non-agricultural businesses before and after obtaining financing from the Palembang Rukun Credit Cooperative, and (3) To measure the level of perception of agricultural and non-agricultural micro business actors regarding the influence of credit from the Palembang Rukun Credit Cooperative on business development. This research was carried out at the Palembang Rukun Credit Cooperative in December 2022. The research method used was the census method and saturated sampling method. The data used is primary data and secondary data. The results of this research are (1) The income level of agricultural and non agricultural micro business actors in Palemraya Village experienced changes after receiving financing from the Palembang Rukun Credit Cooperative. Micro agricultural businesses that have total income below Rp. 3,400,000 experienced a percentage decrease from 82.35 percent to 47.06 percent and total income above Rp. 3,400,000 experienced an increase from 17.65 percent to 52.94 percent and businesses Micro agriculture experienced a change in the percentage of income, namely a decrease in the percentage from 88.89 percent to 72.22 percent with total income below Rp. 3,400,000 while there was an increase in the percentage of income above Rp. 3,400,000 from 11.11 percent to 27.78 percent. (2) Perceptions of agricultural and non-agricultural micro business actors regarding the influence of credit from the Rukun Palembang Credit Cooperative provide a very good and very high response to their businesses with five indicators, namely turnover, income, fulfillment of needs, production level and quality level.
