Abstract

Palembang has considerable potential in the field of Fashion. In developing tfae world of Fashion in Palembang is certainly needs to be supported by building various facilities and infrastructure are adequate and appropriate standards. One way to build the Fashion Center. Fashion Center is a place that hosts events or special events Fashion, where sales area that will not only sell modem fashions, but also traditiooal clothing such as songket palembang fabric as well as the areas of training and promotion area (exhibition) incorporated into ooe place. Fashion Center is certainly well equipped with comfortaWe amenMes for visitors, the pattem of structuring not monotonous, as well as the shape of the building design that can show his character as a fashion building with Neo-Vemacular Archhecture approach, that is one of the modem architectural concept with a combination of tnufitional etements in it so as to provide a distinctive character into the facade of the building. The existence of the Fashion Center in the city of Palembang is one of the efforts in serving the needs of the community and also can help develop the potential of the Fashion world in Palembang.
