Abstract
The interactive multimedia of salt hydrolysis material has been developed and tested in SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. This development was done by ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model combined with Tessmer formative evaluation. The multimedia was tested by the experts of material, pedagogic, and design. The mean values of validity of material was 0.92 with high validity category, validity of pedagogical was 0.82 with high validity category, and validity ofdesign was 0.90 with high validity category. Multimedia practicality was seen from the mean of questionnaires in the one to one and small group stages. The mean value of practicality was 0.75 with high practicality category. The effectiveness of this interactive multimedia was shown from the learning outcomes done in the field test stage. Based on field test results, the obtained N-gain score was 0.76 with high category of effectiveness. This suggests that interactive multimedia has fulfilled the valid, practical, and effective criteria to be used in salt hydrolysis learning.
