Abstract

The need for occupancy in Palembang city has made the govemment to plan a residential concept of landed house and multi-storey house (vertical housing). Currently in the heart of Palembang city, there are flats built, namely in the area of Ilir Barat 1, Bukit Kecil District. The flats which have stood since 33 years ago are not suitable anymore for habitation and impressed slum. The condition of the towers has damaged the beauty of the heart of Palembang city, therefore the govemment starts to undertake the immediate revitalization of Ilir Barat 1 area. One of the efforts to revitalize the area is to rejuvenate towers in the area of Ilir Barat 1 into apartments for the middle class. Design concept applied in this apartment is adjusted by processing spatial geometry shape and color selection in the building. Accordingly, the design concept chosen for this Apartment is Fractal Architecture.
