Abstract

In the digitalization era, government must have quality, integrity and professional apparatus resources in providing public services to carry out the digitalization process. This research provides an overview of the challenges and process of budget digitization at the Palembang City Regional Secretariat in making development plans because digitalization and planning are not easy matters and must go through a long process because the regional government must consider the resources it has. By using qualitative research methods by conducting interviews, observations, documentation and case studies, it is known that the challenges of digitizing budget planning at the Palembang City Regional Secretariat still face several challenges in the process and adjustment of the government digitalization program. The results of this research show that to achieve quality apparatus resources in the digitalization process, it can be done by updating the process, socialization and the ability of the apparatus must be improved.
