Abstract

Street Children are a group at high risk of sexual behavior in the city of Palembang. As many as 847 street children were scattered in the city of Palembang. The Office of Social Affairs as a Stakeholder is still unable to reach all street children in the city of Palembang, thus increasing the risk of street children doing deviant sexual behavior. The purpose of this study to describe sexual behavior in street children in the city of Palembang. This research method using descriptive analytic research conducted by using in-depth interview method. Informants in this study amounted to 17 informants. Test the validity of data using triangulation of data, sources, and methods. The results of this study is street children have done various forms of sexual behavior ranging from kissing, hugging, to had sex with the opposite sex. Knowledge of street children can not be said good. The information obtained by street children is sourced from friends and Social Affairs as well as several NGOs in the area of Palembang City. The subjective norms that exist in street children are not forced but tend to free street children to carry out in sexualbehavior. This forms the attitude of street children who think that sexual behavior is a common thing to do in everyday life. Therefore it is necessary to increase the frequency of guidance on sexual behavior and the cooperation of all existing stakeholders
