Abstract

The development of interactive multimedia for atomic structure chemistry of tenth grade in High School has been done and been implemented in SMA Unggul Negeri 8 Palembang. This research was held by using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) and Tessmer Evaluation. The validity multimedia interactive is assessed by six subject are two matter experts, two pedagogical experts and two design experts. The material validity has a score average of 0,83 with high category, the pedagogical validity has a score average of 0,81 with high category, the design validity has a score average of 0,95 with high category. The practicality of multimedia interactive can be interpreted from questionnaire data one to one with a score average of 0,73 with high category and small group with a score average of 0,74. But the effectiveness of multimedia interactive been got from the result of student is pretest and posttest with the N-gain score of 0,54 in the middle category. According to the data that been got, it shows that multimedia interactive which was developed has pass on the valid, practical, and effective category to be used in chemical studying process of atomic structure lesson.
