Abstract

This research aims to obtain information about the effect of kiambang compost fertilizer (Salvinia molesta) on the growth of snow pea plants (Pisum sativum) to find out what is the best concentration of kiambang compost fertilizer (Salvinia molesta) on the growth of snow pea plants (Pisum sativum). The method used was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment consisted of application of kiambang compost fertilizer with a concentration of P0 (Control), P1 200gr compost fertilizer, P2 400gr compost fertilizer, P3 600gr compost fertilizer and P4 800gr compost fertilizer. Research data was analyzed using variance analysis and continued with the BJND test. The research results showed that P3 600g of compost was the optimal treatment with an average number of flowers of 3 stalks, number of leaves 51.8, number of pods 2.8, number of seeds 8.2, wet weight of seeds 2.1 gr, dry weight of seeds 0.8 gr, number of branches 20.4 and interest appears 31.0 days. The conclusion of this research is that P3 treatment with a dose of 600g of kiambang compost fertilizer has a very significant effect on all parameters of snow pea growth. The results of this research will be contributed in the form of learning tools: Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD)
