Abstract

This study is based on the physical implementation of development activities that were funded by the village is not in accordance with the specified planning and community development activities that were funded by the village of less benefit to society and the absence of a report to the public on the implementation of village funds. The purpose of this study was to determine the problems that arise in the process of fund management at the village of Tanjung Medang Kelekar District of Muara Enim regency in 2016. This study used descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through the documentation, observation and interview. The results showed that the management of funds in the village of Tanjung Medang in 2016 has not gone well because there are obstacles in every village fund management process both at the planning, implementation and budgeting and accountability, causing purpose of the village funds program was not reached its full potential. That is because of less optimal role and function of the village government and villagers in the village fund management process. Therefore, it is necessary efforts to improve the organization of village government and community members about the role and function in the management of village funds through socialization organized by the district government and district on the role and functions of village government and villagers in the management of village fund in accordance with the rules that have been set.
