Abstract
The management is done as an attempt to control drug supply in the hospital pharmacy which is intended to make the quantity of the drug is maintained. In addition, management of medication is also an effort to maintain the quality of the drug. Quality quality drugs will affect the recovery of patients and quality of health services in hospitals. This study aims to assess the management of drug management in hospital pharmacy installation Lubuk Sikaping Pasaman. This study used a qualitative research design, supported by primary data obtained through interviews and secondary data through document study. The data were processed and analyzed using the approach of the content (content analysis). The results showed that the management of medications in hospital pharmacy installation Lubuk Sikaping not been implemented optimally. It is seen from the input of human resources are still lacking, infrastructure is inadequate, management guidelines are still incomplete and inadequate funding. Medication management process from planning to evaluation still needs to be maximized in its implementation in order to avoid obstacles vacancy / excess stocks of medicines that are still rife. Management of good medicine will produce quality drugs will maintain the quality and effectiveness and efficiency of the drug in the hospital. management guidelines are still incomplete and inadequate funding.
