Abstract

This study aims at analyzing the effects of current ratio, debt to equity ratio, net profit margin, and asset growth toward dividend distribution decision at basic and chemical sector companies registered at Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012 - 2016. The population in this study is 69 companies register in the stock exchange from which 58 were taken as samples using purposive sampling method. The data were analyzed using logistic regression analysis. The results show that current ratio, debt to equity ratio, net profit margin, and asset growth simultaneously affect the dividend distribution decision with determination coefficient of Nagelkerke R2 of 33.5%. Furthermore, net profit margin and asset growth partially have positive and significant effects toward it. While, current ratio and debt to equity ratio have no significant effects.
