Abstract
Mangrove crab is one of community that depend on mangrove plants and are also biota that can protect themselves by hiding between the roots of mangroves or being in mud that has a lot of mangroves leaves to be used as food sources. The aim of this study to isolate bacteria in the hepatopancreas and to find out the types of bacteria that found in mangrove crabs. The results obtained from this study were the discovery of Mangrove crabs, namely the Scylla serrata species. Isolation process in Mangrove crabs S.Serrata found 6 isolates, 4 isolator in the hepatopancreas and 2 isolates in the gill section. Based on bacterial identification result on Mangrove crabs S.serrata is Aeromonas hydrophila, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, dan Pseudomonas putida species.
