Abstract

Pneuomonia is the main killer of toddlers in the world and in Indonesia the disease is ranked the top 10 of infant and childhood illness. Yosodadi was located province Lampung,incident rate in Yosodadi based on data hospital as much 60 childs. One of the cause pneumonae because of factor ekstrinsik from house physical characteristic. Required the existence of measurement and examanition relationship house physical characteristic, Others : humidty,lighting,smoke,density. The purpose of this study is to analyze house physical characteristic residential factors childhood in the subdistrict Yosodadi Central Metro Province Lampung. This research uses qualitatitative approach. Desain case control sampel this 76 sample.Based on the result indicates that there is three variable associated is humidty (OR=3,850), lighting (OR=6,881),exposure to smoke (OR=0,898)and obtained results of dominant of pneumonia variable lighting OR= 5,341. The researcher's suggestion for community is to get use open the window in the morning late afternoon so that necessary natural lighting is fulfilled.
