Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan metil merkaptan dengan kapasitas produksi 43.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2028 di Kecamatan Karangampel, Kabupaten Indramayu, Provinsi Jawa Barat yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 5,70 Ha. Proses pembuatan Metil Merkaptan ini mengacu pada Patent US 2022/0363630 A1, dimana metode proses yang digunakan adalah sintesa metil merkaptan dengan reaktan karbon monoksida, hidrogen, dan hidrogen sulfida. Reaksi berlangsung dalam reaktor jenis multitubular fixed bed reactor dengan kondisi operasi (320oC, 10 bar). Pabrik ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang dipimping oleh direktur. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan karyawan sebanyak 170 orang. Pabrik metil merkaptan layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi parameter kelayakan ekonomi: • Total Capital Investment (TCI) = US $ 44.404.400,82 • Total Penjualan = US $ 129.000.000,00 • Total Production Cost (TPC) = US $ 97.738.000,94 • Annual Cash Flow = US $ 23.751.545,12 • Pay Out Time = 2,0178 Tahun • Rate Of Return On Investment (ROR) = 45,7619% • Discounted Cash Flow – ROR = 52,9915% • Break Even Point (BEP) = 30,5399% • Service Life = 11 tahun Kata Kunci: Metil Merkaptan, Multitubular Fixed Bed Reactor, Perseroan Terbatas
