Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji respon lalat buah terhadap pencampuran ekstrak jeringau dan ekstrak buah belimbing, mangga dan pepaya dalam usaha pengendalian lalat buah pada pertanaman belimbing. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Desa Sembawa Kecamatan Sembawa, Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan 8 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu spesies lalat buah yang terperangkap, jumlah lalat buah yang terperangkap, lama waktu memerangkap dan spesies lalat buah dari buah belimbing yang terserang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua spesies lalat buah yang terperangkap di Lapangan yaitu Baclrocera carambolae dan B. umbrosus, sedangkan di Laboratorium hanya satu spesies yaitu B. carambolae. Jumlah imago lalat buah B. carambolae 5777 ekor jantan sedangkan B. umbrosus yang tertangkap 5 ekor jantan. Jumlah imago yang terperangkap paling banyak ialah pada perlakuan B (1 ml ekstrak belimbing) sebanyak 616 ekor sedangkan yang paling sedikit yaitu pada perlakuan A (1 ml ekstrak jeringau) sebanyak 359 ekor. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa efektif memerangkap lalat buah rata-rata 30 hari. Spesies lalat buah yang muncul dari buah yang terserang adalah Bactrocera carambolae.
