Abstract

Hasil penelitian tentang Analisis Pengelolaan Limbah Padat Medis di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Palembang Bari,karakteristik limbah padat medis RSUD Palembang Bari meliputi sumber limbah medis berasal dari unit pelayanan kesehatan dan penunjang medik rumah sakit dengan jenis limbah medis yang dihasilkan meliputi limbah infeksius, limbah benda tajam, limbah patologi, limbah kimia dan limbah farmasi. Timbulan limbah medis RSUD Palembang Bari yaitu 0.9 kg/TT.hari lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan Ditjen PP & PL dan WHO yang menyatakan bahwa timbulan limbah medis dari RS rata-rata 0.14 kg/TT.hari. RSUD Palembang Bari telah melakukan upaya minimisasi limbah yaitu reduksi dan pemanfaatan yang sudah sesuai dengan Bapedal tahun 1992. Proses pengelolaan limbah medis di RSUD Palembang Bari dimulai dari pemilahan, pengumpulan, pengangkutan, penyimpanan, hingga pemusnahan limbah medis. Kegiatan pemilahan dan pengangkutan limbah padat medis belum memenuhi persyaratan Kepmenkes 1204 tahun 2004.
