Abstract
A railway crossing is a crossing where a railway line meets a road, either a highway or other footpath. Many cases of accidents are caused by a lack of guarding and not being equipped with train doorstop facilities, so there is a need for innovation to increase progress, especially the level of safety to prevent accidents. This technology detects the presence of trains at track guard stations (PJL) which can be activated automatically. Where the main component that will be used in the system is a vibration sensor. Based on the results of research that has been carried out on this project, the vibration sensor is good enough to be used because it can read vibration values even if only small vibrations with 80% success in conditions where no vibrations are detected with this value. The read value is 0 and the condition when vibration is detected is the read value of 255. The MPU6050 sensor can also calculate the value of each axis when the position of the device is immersed below the rail track with the highest value on the X axis being 0.050, the Y axis being 0.014 and the Z axis is 0.043.
