Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Bakteriologi dan Fitopatologi, Jurusan Hama Dan Penyakit Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya Inderalaya Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan, dari bulan Agustus sampai Desember 2010. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi antagonis rizobacteria Pseudomonas jluorescens terhadap Rigidoporus lignosus secara in vitro. Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari isolate PflSgAs, Pf2TpAs, Pj3MbAs, Pf4TjAs, Pf5BAs dan PfOk. Hasil identifikasi karakteristik morfologi dan fisiologi menunjukan bahwa isolate Pf merupakan isolate dari genus Pseudomonas jluorescens. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa isolat Pj dapat menghambat pertumbuhan koloni jamur akar putih (JAP) yang disebabkan oleh Rigidoporus lignosus. Penghambatan pertumbuhan JAP setelah di inokulasikan semua isolat Pseudomonas jluorescens berkisar antara 4-14%. Pengaruh perlakuan menunjukan bahwa isolat Pj3MbAs yang paling tinggi penghambatanya dibandingkan dengan PjOk dan isolat lainya. Kata kunci : antagonisme, isolat, uji karakterisasi
