Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine inbreeding depression in Selfed F4 corn for character vegetative growth. The method used was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), consisted of 6 genotypes, there were three elder corn genotypes and three were selfed F4 corn genotypes. The experiment was repeated 3 times so there were 18 experiment units, and then on each observation parameter, inbreeding depression percentage was estimated. The results showed that vegetative growth of selfed F4 generation corn has decreased compare to their parents on parameters: plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf greenness, age of male flowers and age of female flowers.
