Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mendeteksi serangan penyakit Bunchy top dan memetakan lokasi pcnyebarannya.Pcnelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah sentra penghasil pisang di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir, dan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Timur pada bulan Februari 2013 sampai bulan Mei 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan pemetaan melalui GPS pada tanaman pisang di wilayah sentra penghasil pisang kemudian data yang diperoleh di analisa dengan menggunakan metode On Screen Digitizing dari Software ArcView dan pencitraan dengan menggunakan Google Eart'n. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola penyebaran penyakit bunchy top pada areal pertanaman pisang bersifat mengelompok dan membentuk blok dalam rumpun. Dalam satu rumpun terserang 2 sampai beberapa batang tanaman pisang. Didaerah Kabupaten OKU Timur termasuk daerah endemis, dalam satu areal pertanaman hampir semuanya terserang bunchy top dan penyebarannya membentuk kelompok-kelompok rumpun dalam satu areal. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dapat ditarik kesimpulan yaitu: Dari ke-12 varietas pisang tersebut varietas pisang raja merupakan varietas yang paling banyak terserang penyakit bunchy top virus. Dari seluruh jumlah varietas tanaman pisang yang terserang, sekitar 59,65% adalah varietas pisang raja, sedangkan varietas terendah terserang penyakit bunchy top sekitar 18,18% adalah varietas pisang udang.
