Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap pengembangan modul pembelajaran kimia pendekatan STEM mata kuliah kewirausahaan topik jenis pakan untuk peningkatan produktivitas ikan nila bagi generasi milenial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitian adalah dosen mata kuliah kewirausahaan, koordinator Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia, dan mahasiswa program studi pendidikan kimia semester 5 tahun akademik 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan data yang diperoleh secara triangulasi berupa wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket dinyatakan valid dan sangat relevan dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah kewirausahaan di Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Sriwijaya. Terdapat delapan modul kewirausahaan yang telah dikembangkan, namun masih terbatas untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa membutuhkan modul berbasis STEM topik jenis pakan untuk peningkatan produktivitas ikan nila bagi generasi milenial sebagai pedoman dalam belajar mandiri tentang budidaya ikan nila yang membuat mahasiswa kreatif dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan modul pembelajaran kimia berbasis STEM topik jenis pakan untuk peningkatan produktivitas ikan nila bagi generasi milenial memungkinkan dan layak untuk dilakukan sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan motivasi dalam belajar dan berwirausaha di Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Sriwijaya. Disarankan melakukan penelitian analisis kurikulum pengembangan modul ini. Kata-kata kunci: Kebutuhan modul, STEM, Ikan Nila, Generasi milenial ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the needs of students for the development of a chemistry learning module with a STEM approach in the entrepreneurship course on the topic of fish feed for improving the productivity of tilapia fish for millennial generation. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection conducted on fifth-semester students in the academic year 2023, entrepreneurship course lecturers, and the coordinator of the Chemistry Education Study Program. The research data collected through triangulation of questionnaires, interviews, and documentation are valid and highly relevant to the needs of students in the entrepreneurship course at Sriwijaya University. The research results show that there are eight entrepreneurship modules that have been developed, but the modules is still limited for use in learning activities. Therefore, students need teaching materials in the form of STEM-based modules on the topic of fish feed for improving the productivity of tilapia fish for millennial generation as a guide for self-learning that makes students creative in learning. Based on the needs analysis, the development of a chemistry learning module with a STEM approach in the entrepreneurship course on the topic of fish feed for improving the productivity of tilapia fish for millennial generation is feasible and can be done as a solution to increase motivation in learning and entrepreneurship in the Chemistry Education Study Program at Sriwijaya University. It is recommended to conduct a curriculum analysis for the development this module. Keywords: Module needs, STEM, Tilapia, Millennial generation.
