Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Fitopatologi dan rumah kaca Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya Inderalaya dari bulan Oktober 2011 sampai dengan Maret 2012. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi kompos yang diperkaya Trichoderma sp dan Penicillium sp dengan berbagai konsentrasi terhadap penyakit rebah kecambah pada tanaman cabai (Capsicum annum L). Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari 11 perlakuan kompos diperkaya agens PGPF dan kontrol, dengan 3 ulangan. Setiap ulangan, terdiri dari 30 benih cabai. Setiap perlakuan merupakan pencampuran antara tanah dan kompos yang telah ditambahkan agens hayati sebanyak 1 %, 1,5%, dan 2% kompos per gram tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Antar konsentrasi 1%, 1,5% dan 2% tidak berbeda nyata dalam menekan penyakit Damping off, tanaman cabai yang diaplikasikan dengan kompos yang diperkaya Trichoderma sp dan Penicillium sp berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai.
