Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui spesies dan pendugaan populasi ulat kantong pada tanaman belum menghasilkan dan tanaman menghasilkan pada perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode pengambilan sampel ulat kantong secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Dari hasil Hasil pengamatan di PT. PP. London Sumatra Indonesia. Tbk, di Bukit Hijau Estate terdapat lima spesies yaitu Mahasena corbetti Tams, Metisa plana Walker, Oiketicus abotti Templ, Pteroma plagiophales Hps., dan Clania sp. Populasi ulat kantong pada tanaman belum menghasilkan lebih sedikit dibandingkan tanaman menghasilkan. Hasil Uji time series dihasilkan garis Y_linier, dari populasi pengamatan selama enam minggu untuk mengetahui prediksi populasi setiap spesies ulat kantong pada pengamatan berikutnya, dengan syarat perubahan kondisi lingkungan, makanan, dan perlakuan tidak berbeda dengan kondisi sewaktu melaksanakan penelitian.
