Abstract
PT Baturona Adimulya is cooperated with PT Alas Watu Utama (as a contractor on mine site west Pit 2 Supat Block. On 2017, the company made a projection of overburden removal around 300.000 BCM. In target realization process, mechanical equipment that used is 2 units of excavator backhoe Dosaan 340 LCV, 5 units of excavator backhoe Doosan 500 LCV as Load-Haul-Dump unit and 6 units of articulated dump truck CAT D400E, 6 units of dump truck Foton Auman, 8 units of dump truck Isuzu Gyga. The hauling overburden from loading point to disposal area. The overburden removal activity of west pit 2 Supat Block in January to April periods is never achieving the target projection, the average point on realization processs is only 73% of 197.813 BCM/month. The factors that disrupt the achievement process of overburden removal is the productivity of hauling and load-haul-dump equipment is not maximized, number of bucket of overburden on hauling equipment’s vessel that hasn’t maximized and working efficiency. The means that has been done for realizing target projection are: increasing the work efficiency by correcting the effectiveness of working time by eliminating or at least pressing the time that can disrupt the operation such as the tardiness of starting time and stopping before the scheduled time. t Beside that, by maximazing the number of bucket of overburden on hauling equipment’s vessel can increase it productivity. We can increase the efficiency time. after efforts to increase the productivity of loading equipment increased to 387,605 BCM. As for the productivity of transportation equipment increased to 310,558 BCM.
