Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk. is one of the companies engaged in coal mining industry. Banko Barat is one of the mining sites owned by PT. Bukit Asam. Meeting consumer demand is a top priority for PT. Bukit Asam is to build Temporary Stockpile and Dump Hopper. Coading of coal from Temporary Stockpile 1E to dump hopper 4 with a combination of excavator backhoe and dump truck often found a queue of transport vehicles that occur in dump hopper 4. This queue is closely related to the number of loading and conveyance are applied based on the capability dump hopper 4. From the results of the observation ability dump hopper 4 actually can only average 1.136,17 tons/hour. This is because the CV-23 conveyor belt motor is notcapable of receiving more than 1.136,17 tons/hour so that the capability of the dump hopper 4 can not be increased optimally. The number of appliances that are actually applied in the field are 4 units of loading tools Komatsu PC 400 excavator backhoe and 20 units of Scania P360 dump truck conveyance with the provision of 1 unit of loading tools serving 5 units of conveyance of 4 fleets. The productivity of the conveyance is 1.275 tons/hour and the work harmony value of equipment is 0,84. Where MF < 1 means there is waiting time for the loading tolls because it is waiting for the conveyance that has not arrived yet, due to the long queue in dump hopper 4 on when the conveyance does the feeding. In order to occur the harmony of the working tool and not the occurrence of long queues in the dump hopper 4 then it is necessary to reduce the number of tools as much as 1 unit of loading and 2 units of conveyance. So as to fulfill the ability actual dump hopper 4 of 1.136,17 tons/hour requires 3 units of loading and 18 units of conveyance by applying 1 unit of loading tools serving 5 units of conveyance of 3 fleets. The value of the work equity of the equipment obtained is 1,01 and the productivity of the conveyance is 1.147,5 tons/hour.
