Abstract
This research is a development research which aims to develop an independent curriculum teaching module with material on environmental pollution accompanied by material on the local reality context of Indralaya which is suitable to be donated or used at the 10th grade high school level. This research includes development research (Development Research) which uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The evaluation carried out is a formative evaluation because improvements made to improve product quality can be carried out after any stage in the development process. The analysis was carried out with 2 activities, namely analysis of the independent curriculum by describing Learning Achievements in the independent curriculum related to Environmental Pollution material and needs analysis carried out by interviews with biology teachers & class 10 students at SMAN 2 Indralaya Utara. Next, the design is carried out according to the results of the analysis stage, then the resulting product is made into a complete product to be assessed by the validator. The assessment results from the validators obtained a feasibility score of 85.16% with several suggestions given as well as the conclusion from the two validators that the product being developed could be tested with improvements according to the suggestions. After the development stage, an evaluation stage is carried out, namely by improving it according to suggestions from the validator. The results of trials with students showed that all students who were respondents were able to understand and read the contents of the modules that were developed. According to the results obtained, the independent curriculum teaching module product on environmental pollution material accompanied by material on the local reality context of Indralaya has been successfully developed and received a feasibility validation score in the 'very valid' category.
