Abstract

Agriculture is a vast sector and has an important role in Indonesia. Agricultural tools and machinery (known as alsintan), agricultural tool technology to help farmers manage land and agricultural products. The central government of the Ministry of Agriculture has a program in the form of alsintan assistance aimed at farmers / farmer groups / farmer group associations / UPJA in need. The Palembang City Agriculture and Food Security Office is one of the distributors of alsintan assistance from the center, the flow of current assistance procedures is carried out manually by direct review so that there is no assessment data with a score of criteria and special priorities that can allow assistance not to be distributed according to those who really need it. This study aims to design a decision support system by recommending criteria and assessments using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method, to assist in considering decision making for farmer groups that deserve recommendations for alsintan assistance. This research produces the results of the calculation of farmer groups in order of ranking, alternative code A02 as the best alternative with a total final value of 0.281, followed by farmer group 3, farmer group 3, farmer group 1, and farmer group 5. This research also produces a website-based decision support system design with the SMART method in providing recommendations for recipients of alsintan assistance in Palembang City.
