Abstract
Emotions are certain feelings that are agitated and experienced by a person and have an influence on human life. Students' emotional attitudes can also be affected by disharmonious families or broken homes. Broken home is a division of family problems, lack of attention from family or lack of love from parents. However, it turns out that in every school, there are students who experience high emotional attitudes. This research aims to determine the emotional attitudes of students from broken home backgrounds towards their colleagues at SDN 41 Palembang, determine the emotional attitudes of students from broken home backgrounds towards teachers at SDN 41 Palembang, and determine the teachers' efforts in overcoming the emotional attitudes of students from broken backgrounds. home at SDN 41 Palembang. This type of research is qualitative research. The results of this research show that teachers must be able to take an individual approach to students so that students get full attention from the teacher and lack full affection, because students never get attention from their parents. There is an attachment between individuals and students towards parents at home and teachers. With good cooperation, the three parties will become one unit which will certainly have a positive impact on being able to live a good life as expected. Keyword : Emotion, Broken Home, Teacher
