Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efek toksisitas ekstrak jahe terhadap mortalitas dan indeks repelensi kumbang bubuk (Sitophilus zeamais Motsch.), serta pengaruhnya terhadap perkecambahan atau viabilitas biji jagung setelah pemberian ekstrak jahe. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan 13,30, 14,96, 16,62, 18,28, 19,94% dan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mortaliltas kumbang bubuk tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan F (19,94% ekstrak jahe) dengan nilai (96,00%), indeks repelensi sangat kuat dengan nilai (98,67). Dan nilai daya hambat perkecambahan sebesar 13,60% pada perlakuan B (13,30%). Kata kunci : ekstrak jahe, hama gudang, kumbang bubuk
