Abstract
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia 2011 regarding the Guidelines for CHLB Development, which is a collection of actions carried out consciously as a result of understanding that makes it able to help others, the environment, family, group, or community in the area of health and actively participate in the realization of public health. According to the 2018 Riskesdas results, the three GERMAS indicators, which are also indicators of PHBS, showed no improvement compared to the 2013 Riskesdas. The percentage of households with PHBS in South Sumatra based on data in 2018 is 64%, which shows a decrease compared to the previous year which was 64.9%. This research is an experimental study with a Quasi-Experimental research designed in one group pre-post test design. Researchers provide treatment or intervention to research subjects in the form of counseling on PHBS, then the results of the treatment are observed, measured, and analyzed. This research was conducted on March 6, 2023 at the Punti Kayu Health Center, Palembang City. The results of this study were obtained, before counseling, knowledge related to good PHBS was as much is 6 people (13.6%), enough was as much as 29 people (65.5%) and less was as much as 9 people (20.5%). After counseling, knowledge related to good PHBS was 27 people (61.4%), sufficient was 15 people (34.1%), and lacking was 9 people (20.5%). After counseling, the knowledge related to PHBS which is 27 people (61.4%), 15 people (34.1%), and 2 people (4.5%). Counseling has an influence on community knowledge and attitudes related to PHBS at the Punti Kayu Palembang Health Center.
