Abstract
Inflation volatility is an unstable and unpredictable inflation condition that makes economic actors uncertain. This study aims to analyze the influence of fintech payments on inflation volatility in Indonesia for the period 2010Q1–2023Q2 using the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model. The results of this study are: (1) electronic money has a positive influence that is not significant on the short term and long term; (2) interest rates have a significant negative influence on the short term and positive are insignificant on the long run; (3) government external debt has a significant negative influence on the short term and positive is insignificant on the long run; and (4) central government spending has a negative influence on the short term, a significant positive influence on the short term, and a significant positive influence on the long term.
