Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF ANDROID-BASED LEARNING MEDIA USING SMART APPS CREATOR 3 ON THE MATERIAL OF SHORT STORY BUILDING ELEMENTS CLASS XI SMAN 1 UNGGULAN MUARA ENIMABSTRACTThe development of android-based learning media is carried out to meet the needs of previously existing media. This research aims to produce android-based learning media development products using Smart Apps Creator 3 on the material of the elements of short story building class XI SMAN 1 Muara Enim Unggulan. This study uses the research and development (R&D) research method with the Allesi and Trolip development research model. The steps are (1) Planning stage by identifying learning conditions and analyzing needs, (2) Design stage by collecting media items, making flowcharts and storyboards, (3) Development stage by developing initial products, alpha testing (expert validation), and revision. Data collection techniques were carried out with questionnaires, interviews by students and teachers and expert validation. Alpha test (expert validation) was conducted by three experts, namely media experts, material experts and linguists. The results of the media validation test showed 94% (very valid). material validation showed 98% (very valid), language validation 96% (very valid). Based on the results of the validation test by three experts on android-based learning media using Smart Apps Creator 3 on the material of the elements of short story building, it is declared very feasible to be used in class XI at SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim.Keywords: Development, Smart Apps Creator 3, short story.
