Abstract

Adolescent sexual behavior becomes a health problem for family and community. Adolescent sexual behavior at two junior high schools in Palembang City is already at risky stages started from holding hands, cuddles, kisses, masturbation, stimulate sensitive areas..This study aims to determine and describe environmental factors that influenced adolescent sexual behavior with qualitative methods. Sampling at the study site and selection of expert key informan were conducted by using purposive sampling with of number of key informants 12 teenage respondents and number of key informants 4 teachers and 12 respondents parents. The result of this study claimed sexual behavior influenced by the lack of parental roles and the powerful influence of peer behavior. Parents play important role in supervising the behavior of children inside and outside the home environment. Early adolescents usually imitated the lifestyle of friends or conformity including courtship and sexual behavior. Adolescent sexual behavior on the basis of likes the same likes and does not expect the reward in the form of goods or money. Gadgets also have a very big influenced on adolescents sexual behavior in accessing porn sites. The respondents in this study admitted accessed pornography more than once (>1) in 1 month. This caused adolescents have a high curiosity and desire to engage sexual behavior. Adolescents sexual behavior can also be affected by transportation, this is because transportation can facilitate the distance to destinations such as kost-kostan, parks, cinemas and recreational places that have the potential to do sexual activity. It can be concluded that environmental factors greatly affected sexual behavior in adolescents. So that adolescent reproductive health education programs should be given to parents, peers and
