Abstract
AYU WIJAYANTI. “Performance Test of Hand Tractor With Differences in Plowing Depth, Plow Sharpness and Pull Speed to Travel Time” (Supervised by R. MURSIDI). This research aims to determine and study differences in plowing depth, plow sharpness and pulling speed on travel time. This research was carried out from May 2023 to June 2023 at the Mechanical, Soil and Water Engineering Laboratory of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program, as well as the Practical and Research Garden at the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya Indralaya University. The method used was a Randomized Block Factorial Design (RAKF) which consisted of three treatment factors, namely plowing depth, plow sharpness, and tractor pulling speed. Research parameters consist of main and supporting parameters. The main parameters are travel time and supporting parameters including wheel slip, fuel requirements, tractor pulling speed, bulk density, width of land turning, percentage of land turning, and depth of plowing. The results of the research show that speed, sharpness and the combination of treatment levels have a significant effect on travel time. The lowest combined travel time in the D1T1V2 treatment (10 cm depth, plow blade sharpness 200, speed 4km/hour) was 21.16 seconds. Variability analysis shows that differences in plowshare sharpness have a significant effect on travel time. The sharpness of the plow can speed up the plowing travel time with the average late plowing being 23.01 seconds, and the fastest average being 22.39 seconds.Keywords: Hand tractor, Travel Time, Plowing Depth, Sharpness of the plow, Pull speed AYU WIJAYANTI. “Uji Kinerja Traktor Tangan Dengan Perbedaan Kedalaman Pembajakan, Ketajaman Bajak Singkal dan Kecepatan Tarik Terhadap Waktu Tempuh” (Dibimbing oleh R. MURSIDI).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari perbedaan kedalaman pembajakan, ketajaman bajak singkal dan kecepatan tarik terhadap waktu tempuh.Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada Bulan Mei 2023 sampai dengan Bulan Juni 2023 di Laboratorium Mesin, Teknik Tanah dan Air Program Studi Teknik Pertanian, serta Kebun Praktikum dan Riset Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya Indralaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF) yang terdiri dari tiga faktor perlakuan yaitu Kedalaman pembajakan, Ketajaman bajak singkal, dan Kecepatan tarik traktor. Parameter penelitian terdiri dari parameter utama dan pendukung. Parameter utama yaitu Waktu tempuh dan Paremeter pendukung diantaranya Slip Roda, Kebutuhan bahan bakar, kecepatan tarik traktor, Bulk Density, Lebar Pembalikkan Tanah, Persentase pembalikkan tanah, dan Kedalaman pembajakan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan, ketajaman dan kombinasi taraf perlakuan berpengaruh nyata terhadap waktu tempuh. Kombinasi waktu tempuh terendah pada perlakuan D1T1V2 (Kedalaman 10 cm, ketajaman mata bajak 20o, kecepatan 4km/jam) yaitu 21,16 detik. Analisa keragaman menunjukan bahwa perbedaan ketajaman mata bajak berpengaruh nyata terhadap waktu tempuh. Ketajaman bajak dapat mempercepat waktu tempuh pembajakan dengan rata-rata pembajakan terlambat yaitu 23,01 detik, dan rata-rata yang tercepat pada yaitu 22,39 detikKata Kunci: Traktor tangan, Waktu Tempuh, Kedalaman Pembajakan, Ketajaman bajak singkal, kecepatan Tarik.
