Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of the analysis of the needs of teacher and grade V students at SDN 01 Indralaya Selatan for innovative learning media, to develop a snakes and ladders game on the topic of the Human Digestive System, and to test the feasibility and practicality of the developed media. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model consisting of 4 stages: Analyze, Design, Development, and Implementation. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, validation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The researcher validated the media with 3 experts (media expert, subject matter expert, and learning practitioner) and conducted trials on grade V students. The result of the media expert validation obtained a percentage of 96,15% , which falls into the category of very valid, the subject matter expert validation obtained a percentage of 93,75%, which falls into the category of very valid, and the learning practitioner expert validation obtained a percentage of 96%, which falls into the category of very valid. The first trial conducted was a small group trial that obtained a percentage result of 96,5%, which falls into the category of very practical. The second trial was a large group trial that obtained a percentage result of 95,15% which falls into the category of very practical. The assessment results obtained the conclusion that the developed snakes and ladders game is feasible and practical for use in the learning process.
