Abstract

This study aims to produce animated video learning media products based on Problem Based Learning using the Powtoon application on natural ecosystem material in grade V SD Negeri 05 Indralaya about development procedures, validity, teacher and student responses, and the effectiveness of learning media. The type of research used is development research with the ADDIE model which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, validation sheets, questionnaires. Validation from media experts with 96% percentage results that fall into the very valid category. Validation from material experts with a percentage score of 98% which is categorized as very valid. The teacher response questionnaire produced a percentage of 92% which was included in the very practical category. The questionnaire of student responses at the individual stage of 99% was included in the very practical category, at the group trial stage of 90% which was included in the very practical category, while the field group trial of 94% was included in the very practical category. The N-gain score obtained is 0.908 or included in the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that problem-based learning video learning media products are feasible to be used in the learning process.
