Abstract

This research aims to test and determine the effectiveness of foreign exchange reserves, financial deepening, and economic growth on exchange rate stability inIndonesia. This research uses an econometric data analysis model, namely a model that states that time series and latitudinal data produce data called data tables, where there are 4 data tables for the variables being analyzed, so that 4 data are obtained which are used as research samples. The data sources in this research were obtained from several websites such as the World Bank and severalother supporting websites. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using Eviews. This research shows that foreignexchange reserves do not have a significant effect on exchange rate stability in Indonesia, while the expansion of the financial sector (financial deepening) has a significant impact. Likewise, economic growth has been proven to have a substantial effect on exchange rate stability in this country. This illustrates that these economic factors have different influences in maintaining exchange rate stability in Indonesia
