Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence on the analysis of the profit performance of the Islamic Banking industry in Indonesia. This study uses panel data. The number of banks studied were 10 Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia as listed in the Islamic Banking Statistics from 2015-2022. The variables used in this study are Net Income (Ln_Profit), Capital (LN_Cap), Murabahah Financing (P_M), Operating Cost Operating Income (BOPO) Ratio (RBOPO), Covid-19 Dummy (DCovid19). Based on the results of statistical testing using eviews 12, the variables of Capital, Murabahah Financing, BOPO Ratio affect the Net Income of Islamic banks, while the Covid 19 Dummy variable has no effect on the net income of Islamic Banks in Indonesia.The test result of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) is 0.941. This explain that the effect of the independent variable on the dependent is 94.1% and the remaining 5.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study
