Abstract

Pabrik Metanol direncanakan berlokasi di daerah Tj.Api-Api Gasing Talang Klp, Kabupaten Banyu Asin, Sumatera Selatan. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 9 Ha dengan kapasitas 420.000 ton pertahun. Proses pembuatan Metanol dilakukan melalui proses Lurgi dengan bahan baku hidrogen (H2) dan karbon monoksida (CO2), yang berlangsung pada reaktor Multi Tubular Fixed Bed dengan bantuan katalis Zink Oksida. Hidrogen (H2) dan karbon monoksida (CO2) direaksikan pada Multi Tubular Fixed Bed reactor berlangsung pada temperatur 250oC di reaktor 1, 240oC di reaktor 2 dengan tekanan 50 atm dan 40 atm. Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan jumlah karyawan 220 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, maka Pabrik Pembuatan Metanol layak didirikan dengan hasil analisa ekonomi sebagai berikut: a. Total Capital Investment : US $ 16.006.028,90 b. Hasil Penjualan per Tahun : US $ 357.000.000,00 c. Biaya Produksi per Tahun : US $ 320.368.765,55 d. Laba Bersih per Tahun : US $ 12.369.843,31 e. Rate of Return Investment : 78,12% f. Break Event Point (BEP) : 32,12 % g. Pay Out Time : 1,58 tahun h. Service Life : 11 tahun
