Abstract

Education as an investment in the future to eradicate ignorance and improve the quality of human resources, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies are very important in developing relationships between surrounding communities and in accordance with Law No. 40 of 2007 concerning social and environmental responsibility. This research aims to analyze the Public Value contained in the CSR policy of the Bukit Asam Company Kertapati Pier unit in the field of education with the existence of a Programs, scholarship program for education costs around Bukit Asam (BIDIKSIBA). The theory used by Mark Moore's Public Value is a triangular strategy consisting of legitimacy and support, operational capability and substantial value. The research method uses qualitative. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of research on public values in the field of education create public values, namely the value of impartiality, the value of sustainability, the value of honesty, the value of responsibility, and the value of responsiveness. socialization regarding the program is not widespread enough to all Ring 1 company commun
